Felipe Arango founded BSD Consulting (business. sustainability. development) in 1998, in Switzerland, and currently leads the company's offices in Colombia, Mexico and the United States. He also serves as Managing Director for the BSD Network. In this capacity he advises investors, businesses, public agencies, civil society organizations and educational bodies in the design of strategies and the implementation of projects towards sustainable development.
He has led the conception and deployment of sustainability/CSR strategies for leading companies in the energy, financial, extractive, food processing, media and social enterprise sectors. He has also supported clients across the globe with sustainable supply chain management, stakeholder engagement, sustainable investment strategies and sustainability reports.
In this career, Arango has taken positions at JP Morgan, FairTrade International, and Biodiversa/Oro Verde, a social enterprise co-owned by artisanal miners in the Chocó bioregion in Colombia.
He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from Boston University.
